Your main goal is to create a traditional drawing inspired by the theme of Wonderland. Let your imagination run wild as you craft a visually stunning piece filled with wonder, fantasy, and surreal elements. Picture enchanted forests, whimsical creatures, dreamlike landscapes, or fantastical adventures. Whether you envision a tea party with talking animals, a labyrinth of giant mushrooms, or a surreal encounter with mythical beings, this challenge is your opportunity to showcase your artistic talents using traditional supplies. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just a creative enthusiast – let your creativity shine!
1. Artwork Theme:
Selecta genre and theme for your Wonderland-inspired artwork. Think of anything from magical forests to whimsical creatures, surreal landscapes, or fantastical adventures.
2. Traditional Supplies Only:
You can only use traditional art supplies such as watercolours, pencils, inks, markers, and pastels. Digital tools are not allowed in this challenge. Feel free to mix and match these traditional mediums to bring your Wonderland vision to life.
3. Limitations:
The size of your artwork should be no larger than A3.
4. Submission:
The deadline for this challenge is 15.08.2024. You should bring your work to Aleksandra Čaka iela 58, Latgales priekšpilsēta, Rīga, LV-1011before the date 15.08.2024. For foreign participants – you can bring your work at the convention on the 17th of August.
Entries will be judged based on the following criteria:
Creativity and Originality: How unique and innovative is your Wonderland artwork? Relevance to Theme: Does your drawing effectively convey the whimsical and fantastical elements of Wonderland?
Aesthetic Appeal: Is your design visually captivating? Are the colors, composition, and overall execution well-done?
Storytelling: Does your artwork tell a story or evoke emotions that resonate with viewers?
Overall Impact: How memorable and impactful is your Wonderland drawing?
While this challenge is primarily for the love of art and creativity, there will be prizes for the top entry!
